Andrew Miller, MP for Ellesmere Port and Neston, has called for new financial products and services to be made available from the Post Office.

Mr Miller said:
“The Post Office is a great British institution that has been part of our communities for over three hundred years and I know how deeply local people care about the future of our Post Offices.
“At a time when some banks and financial services companies are seeking to reduce face to face contact with customers, the Post Office stands out. It offers a trusted brand, and has more branches than the high street banks combined. It is ideally placed to bring banking services back to the heart of people’s communities so I want to see more financial services at the Post Office. It would give people in Ellesmere Port and Neston access to a full range of banking products at an institution we trust and value.

“But I want to hear local residents’ views on this. Let me know what you think by writing to me at The House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA or e-mailing me at millera@parliament.uk.
