Andrew Miller, MP for Ellesmere Port & Neston supported the National Science and Engineering Week and joined Natalie Lane the Regional Officer - North of England for the British Science Association and others at Ness Gardens.
The main theme was bringing people’s attention to the serious risk to bees, which are suffering from a combination of diseases and weather. Andrew also took part in honey tasting and watched local children re-enacting the dance of the worker bees.
Andrew commented, “I was delighted to see so many people, especially children taking part in the activities. Bees are vitally important for pollination therefore essential to agriculture as well as our gardens.”
